Cristiano Ronaldo could follow David Beckham’s steps and play in the MLS one day.

In an interview with the Portuguese star spoke highly of US soccer and the facilities to do the preseason in this country.

"I think they do it well, to come here and do the preseason, for me it's great, because this country is brilliant - the mentality of the people, the conditions,” said Ronaldo.

Cristiano also would like to play in the MLS later in his career: "They are in the right place. I think the soccer here, they do it the best they can, but it can be better. So if I can help there to be better soccer here, I they're great, they are in a good way, and I hope to come here to play one day," he added.

Real Madrid is currently in Los Angeles preparing the 2012-2013 season. It is well known that California is Jose Mourinho’s favorite preseason destination to prepare his teams. He did it with Inter Milan and this is it’s the third year in a row that Real Madrid prepares its season in U.S.’ west coast, same time Jose Mourinho has been coaching the team.
