A Filipino neurologist believes boxer Manny Pacquaio is showing early signs of Parkinson's disease, seen in his stuttering and hand movements.
According to the site ABS-CBNnews.com, the doctor Rustico Jimenez, who is the president of the Filipino Private Hospital Association in an interview to the radio station DZMN, "Pacman" is already showing signs of the illness.
"If you ask me my opinion, perhaps its time that our national hero, Manny, retire. Despite still showing quick reflexes, I've recently noticed, and its only my point of view, early signs," he told the boxing site boxingscene.
The doctor said that he has not checked the boxer personally, and his observations are based on television interviews he has watched.
Pacquiao, a legend alreadyin the boxing world, has lost his last two fights, the last in a vicious knockout to Juan Manuel Marquez--where the medical worries began.
