Andrew Luck dazzled the fans by throwing a touchdown in his first throw in a Colts uniform. It wasnt a bomb down the sideline, but Luck has been consistent in his preseason debut going 10 for 16 for 188 yards and two touch downs. He has a tough act to follow up against a tough Pittsburgh defense.

Brock Osweiler went 4 for 7 for 38 yards and a touchdown in limited play in his debut. Due to his preseason play and work in training camp he is slated to be the second QB option after Peyton Manning.

Casey Keenum went 2-3 for 33 yards in the limited play he saw in his debut. The Houston Texan will probably see more play in the second preseason game though he is not expected to T.J. Yates and John Beck. In the depth chart.

Kellen Moore also seemed to flow into NFL play (albeit preseason) quite smoothly going 10 for 15 and 96 yards despite serious questions about his arm strength against a tough Baltimore defense. It was much better than his debut in which he went 4 for 14 for 40 yards. There are still a lot of questions lurking about Moore who is hoping to take the No. 2 spot in Detroit.

Kirk Cousins had a decent effort in his debut going 9 for 22 and an interception against Buffalo. Clearly not enough to create a quarterback controversy or take the number two spot from Rex Grossman.

Nick Foles impressed in his debut going 6 for 10 for 144 yards and two touchdowns. It may have been against the Steelers third string defense, but it may have been enough to win the number two position, a huge opportunity considering how injury-prone Michael Vick can be. (Mike Kafka, second behind Vick, broke a bone in his non-throwing hand).

Robert Griffin III did not look intimated in his debut though hardly out of this world going 4 for 6 with 70 yards in the most watched debut in the league. He will have to prove himself again, while possibly showing a bit more dynamic play against the Bears on Saturday.

Ryan Lindley has gone 16 of 32 for 166 yards, not enough to get into the conversation in the current Arizona Cardinals quarterback controversy involving Kevin Kolb and John Skleton.

Ryan Tannehill stole the starting position due to injuries and an impressive debut in which he went 14-of-31 for 167 yards and a touchdown. His encore against the Panthers Friday was a lot less impressive, 11 of 23 for a hundred yards though his supporting cast in the receiving corps and offensive line left a lot of questions.

Russell Wilson is slated to also hop right into the starting position with the Seattle Seahwaks. The Wisconsin alumnus went 11 for 13 for 71 yards and one interception in his debut, while showing strength in his legs. It was enough to steal the starting spot from free agent acquisition Matt Flynn.
