Atletico Madrid extended its winning streak in the Europa League with its 3-0 win over Hapoel Tel Aviv, reaching fourteen straight wins in continental competition. Their last loss came on October 2011 against Udinese (2-0).
Since then they have won all their encounters, including the final against Athletic Bilbao in Bucarest (3-0) and the win against Chelsea in the Super Cup (4-1).
Today's win came without some of team's top stars, including Falcao, who did not make the trip to Israel for the debut due to technical reasons.
Atletico madrid opened up the score with a goal by Cristian Rodriguez in the 37th minute with Diego Costa adding one in the 40th minute to make the score 2-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Raul Garcia certified Atletico's dominance on the scoreboard with a goal in the 63rd minute.
