America has no chance to be a finalist

At the semifinals of Liguilla in Mexican soccer arrive the four best teams in the tournament, of that I have no doubt. In fact, the semifinals should be fairer and more competitive than any in recent memory.
However, there is a clear favorite to be a finalist, which has a solid defense and has the most serious teamwork of any team in the semifinals, and that team is Toluca.
America has better individual players, however Morelia revealed the tactial and defensive weakness of the team. “Chucho” Benitez, Rubens Sambueza and “Rolfi” Montenegro could destroy quality defenses on a good day, but if you ask me which is the clear favorite in these semifinals, I don’t have a doubt, Toluca is the best.
“Ojitos” Meza bases his structure on the security of the defense, counts on the intelligence and experience of Sinha and has explosive forwards and goal-scorers, it’s true team. Toluca is a very consistent team and in soccer that is vital.
Furthermore, the “choriceros” have the advantage of closing at home, where they are infallible.
It will be a complicated duel, the individual talent of America could surprise at any moment and the greatness of their name draws respect. It’s a jersey with weight.
But in a series with 180 minutes, generally the best team wins, and the best team in this case is Toluca.
The other series is much closer, both teams have played a marvelous tournament. Leon has the better individual players, but the Xolos are stronger as a team, it’s a series of reserved prognosis.
The only advantage I give to one of the teams is Xolos, because they close at home. For Leon it’s fundamental to have at least a two-goal lead at home.
If Tijuana can get a draw on the road, even if it was to lose by one goal in differential, it has the advantage in the second leg.
My prediction for the Apertura final of 2012 is Toluca vs. Xolos.
We wait for the outcome of the semifinals, and next week we will evaluate the results and analyze the grand final of the Mexican tournament.
