- With Real Madrid destroying Barcelona, and the teams looking entirely different we take a look at the individual grades for the players that stood out, for both good and bad reasons starting with the game MVP. Photo: Getty Images
- Cristiano Ronaldo gets the top grade of the night. His runs distabilized the Barcelona defense throughout the night, culminating in his second brace at the Camp Nou. He could have done with less theatrics, but goals wins games and its hard to argue against his performance. GRADE: A. Photo: Getty Images
- Andres Iniesta was the best player for Barcelona, the only midfielder to stand out with his runs and embarrassing defenders in his wake. In the second half he lost some steam as the team got more nervous and began giving up possession. GRADES: B-. Photo: Getty Images
- Raphael Varane scored a goal in his second straight clasico while once again helping to neutralize Lionel Messi in the back line. We're seeing the birth of a legend. GRADE: A. Photo: Getty Images
- Lionel Messi disappeared for his second consecutive 'big game'. Surrounded by four defenders, the Argentinean star refused to pass it to open teammates and his one great opportunity he sailed wide early in the first quarter. GRADE: C. Photo: Getty Images
- Xabi Alonso was great in helping to neutralized the Real Madrid attack and had some great passes to facilitate the move forward. He loses points for a foul on Pedro (pictured) that should have been a penalty kick. GRADES: B-. Photo: Getty Images
- Gerard Pique was responsible for two of the goals, fouling Cristiano Ronaldo for the penalty kick that opened up the score and losing his mark on Varane in the second goal. When he had a chance up top to score, he sailed it wide. GRADE: D. Photo: Getty Images
- Angel Di Maria had a great game, running past the defense and in a superb individual play that almost broke Puyol's ankles practically scored the second goal himself. He loses some points for his theatrics and some rough play early in the game. GRADE: B-. Photo: Getty Images
- Cesc Fabregas was one of the worst for Barcelona, failing to generate opportunities and when he got them either diving or missing a clear shot on goal. It was made most glaring knowing David Villa was sitting on the sidelines instead of putting up a better fight. GRADE: D. Photo: Getty Images
- Diego Lopez was exactly what he needed to be, showing up big for the few times Barcelona was on point. He loses a few points just because Barcelona didn't really pressure him. GRADE: B+. Photo: Getty Images
- Jordi Alba was great at the start of the game beating the Madrid wingers with his speed, but he lost his cool and began berating the referee and diving as the game progressed. His garbage time goal did little to save his performance. GRADE: C+. Photo: Getty Images
