The only constant in sports is that it's always changing. Take the good or great players of today. Tomorrow, they might not be that good. In fact, they could be downright awful. Along those lines, Terra presents an offering of some very good-to-great players who have lost their touch and are now painful to watch... if they even get on the field that is.

After transfering to Real Madrid he has not been the same player, being affected by injuries and relegated to a secondary role. At the international level, Kaká was not called for over 2 years to the national team after the 2010 South Africa world cup.

He also enjoyed great success in his 4 seasons at Liverpool, but has lost his scoring abilities after moving to Chelsea becoming the highest EPL transfer in history.

After he moved to Chelsea for a then EPL record transfer, Shevchenko never established as a top striker, staying on the bench most of his two seasons there. He went back to Milan for one season but failed to score any league goals and only 2 in 26 appearances in all competitions.

He moved to Marseille where he broke his leg again. Although he had a succesful stint at Panathinaikos, Cisse was never the same after the injuries.

After being dimissed by Guardiola, he moved to Milan and it was downhill for him. Indiscipline and lack of commitment are some of the reasons this fantastic player has not been what he used to in Barcelona.

After he moved to Real Madrid at 25, Owen lost his scoring prowess. Injuries helped dimish Owen's condition. He currently plays for Stoke City.

Although he spent 6 years there, he never fulfilled expectations and was often on the bench in his latter years, to end up playing in in the Saudi Arabia league and the MLS with little success.

Since then he's been in 8 teams, failing to become a regular starter in the last 7 teams he's played for. He recently left Philadephia Union and will play in a ninth team at age 23.

Set to become a star, indiscipline problems affected him and went to a nomadic career through several lower level clubs. His last game with the national team came a 20 years old and never was called back.

After succesful stints with Leeds and Newcastle, he was acquired by Real Madrid at age 24 but his career was affected by several injuries and never regained the level showed at the begninning of his career.

After his loan to Real Madrid, Reyes would not be called up again for Spain and after going to Atletico and Benfica he is now back at Sevilla.

While a the Dutch club, he won several titles including the UEFA Champions League and was that tournament's top scorer the following season. His level fell dramatically after he was signed by Barcelona at age 28 to follow his coach at Ajax Louis van Gaal.
