Tigres lost its undefeated streak in the tournament with a shocking 2-1 loss to Tijuana.

The winning goals came from Alfredo Moreno ('15) and Fernando Arce ('33). Elias Hernandez answered for Tigres in the 63rd minute. Xolos reaches ten poitns while Tigres is left with ten.

Xolos recovered from an unsteady start and nergous finish to defeat a Tigres squad that has allowed four goals in the last two mathces, a strange scenario for one of the best defenses in the league.

The goal by Moreno in the 15th minute went against play as UANL had shown its dominance. The naturalized Mexican controlled the ball in the area and kicked to the left post beyond the reach of Enrique Palos.

As Tigres recovered and Xolos continued to attack the second goal came in the 33rd minute as Diego Olsina pushed forward on the wing to give a cross to Fernando Arce who headed it home for the 2-0.

Xolos got comfortable with the lead and allowed Tigres to take the initiative, which resulted in the goal in the 63rd minute as Damian Alvarez gave the cross to Javier Gandolfini who flicked it to Hernandez on the left post who volleyed it home.
