Using its security personnel, club Toluca denied access to the team's facilities to striker Iván Alonso, who went yesterday to Diablos Rojos’ training ground, in Metepec, to greet his former teammates.

Club president, Fernando Corona, said he did not know about the facts or if it was an order instructed by the coaching staff, but justified the incident being most likely due to the club's rules.

"There are internal rules, but I don't know if he went or the reason for him to be there... when a player is injured he should not be in the facilities, he could get worse, right?, especially with case," said the executive about the Uruguayan player, who will not continue his career with Toluca given his cardiac insufficiency.
