The new European millionaires had said that there wouldn’t be more acquisitions this summer, but sporting director Leonardo reached an agreement with Sao Paulo, Lucas Moura’s current club. The fee has not been disclosed but media rumors said the deal was between 35 and 45 million euros.
Until now, the club that showed more interest in Moura was Manchester united, whose offer was rejected by the Parisian club.
Moura, who will turn 20 on August 13th, is currently playing with Brazil’s Olympic team. He is a product of Sao Paulo youth system where he has played for three seasons, scoring 17 goals and was also part of Brazil’s squad during the 2011 Copa America.
