The annual United Nations charity match featuring former World Cup winners Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane will be played in Brazil.

The 2013 "Match Against Poverty" will take place in the southern Brazilian city of Porto Alegre on Dec. 19 at Gremio's brand new arena.

Neymar, Romario, Bebeto, Deco, Christian Vieri and Christian Karembeu are among other players to have confirmed their appearance.

Local organizers said Thursday that the teams will be coached by Brazil manager Mano Menezes and former national team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari. The referee will be Pierluigi Collina.

Ronaldo and Zidane are U.N. Goodwill Ambassadors.

The money gathered from the event will be donated to different social projects across the world.
