Sao Paulo is officially playing hardball.

The Brazilian club, according to the Daily Mail, has demanded £50 million from Manchester United for Lucas Moura's services.

The 19-year-old midfielder is currently in London preparing for the Olympics with the national team.

"Manchester United made a very important offer of €35m but they would need to produce a little more," director Marco Aurelio Cunha Cunha was quoted as saying by TMW. "For us there is only Neymar worth more, after him is Lucas and we would not want to sell for less than this sort of value. For us it is still better to have a good player than lots of money in the bank."

United still has not commented on its interest in Moura.
