Enke had suffered a deep depression since his transfer from Barcelona to Fenerbache and after various failures in different clubs. It was initially reported that he died in his sleep but the Greek press reported that he woke up in the morning complaining of chest pain and called a hospital. he died in the ambulance. - On June 26, 2003 Cameroon and Marc Vivien Foe played in the Confederations semifinal against Colombia. In the 72nd minute, Foe passed out at the center of the field. Jairo Patino, of Colombia, was the first to come to his aid. After various attempts by paramedics to revive him, he was taken out on a stretched. Paramedics attempted to revive him for 45 minutes but died at the medical center.
