According to AS, Barcelona striker David Villa could miss Saturday's league match with Granada after he was taken to the hospital Monday with renal colic.

The club medical staff released the following statement on Barcelona's web page: "David Villa was admitted to hospital due to a nephritic colic infection. The player will undergo kidney stone treatment in the coming hours. At this point, David Villa is doubtful for the match against Granada on Saturday."

Villa played for Spain in last week's friendly against Argentina and was in the starting lineup for Barcelona's 6-1 romp over Getafe, scoring the third goal.
